Moonmoth — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

The short version: Moonmoth collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. The app has no networking code at all. Every photo and video you add stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. Moonmoth does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no way to identify you and no servers that could receive your data.

Your photos and videos

Moonmoth lets you add your own photos and videos so they can appear inside the game as memories you find while playing. When you add them:

Game progress

Your progress — the night you have reached, moths guided home, flowers bloomed, and which memories you have found — is stored on your device using Apple's standard local settings storage. It never leaves the device.

Analytics, tracking and advertising

There are none. Moonmoth contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is measured or reported.

Children

Moonmoth is safe for all ages. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
